I love the polyester bristles. I also love that I can easily recycle them at the end of their life. I wish the packaging would be recyclable as well, but probably I am too demanding.

Bristles are nice and soft. But the size of the brush head is thick and feels quite large in my mouth. I am a large man. If you have a small mouth this may not work for you. Definitely too large for a child.

I’ve been eager to switch to bamboo for environmental reasons, but I didn’t want to compromise my Dr Collins bristles. Now I can switch. I read a review that complained about bristles falling out. I have not experienced a single incident of that. I must add that the shape of this bamboo handle is more comfortable than other bamboo toothbrushes available. More comfortable fit, better leverage, sturdier.

I always hated the waste of discarding plastic toothbrushes. Bamboo is natural, biodegradable, and extremely renewable. And of course these brushes have the same tapered bristles that I like.
