As the title says, this works for me because I have closely spaced teeth with sharp ridges, so it doesn’t shred or break. However, the older model which was similar but waxed and is no longer available, worked better for me, since it was smoother to use.

I agree with Steve B. It seemed like quality floss, but way too slippery for unwaxed. I like the abrasion of unwaxed floss to remove plaque between the teeth. This is like a hybrid, not waxed, but way too smooth for unwaxed floss. Also, it shreds. I will definitely not purchase this dental floss again.
